Rental cars

Priceline: Memorial Day weekend perfectly coincides with National Road Trip Day (May 28), making Priceline’s rental car deals aptly timed. Between May 17 and May 30, the booking site is offering 10 percent off of future car rentals from companies like Sixt, Budget, and more. Use code ROADTRIP10 to cash in.

Hotels and vacation rentals

Vrbo: Vacation rental hub VRBO is offering an ongoing 20 percent off of new listings. Just click “new listing discount” in the filters menu (it’s at the very bottom) to see what homes are included in the deal. Need advice on where to start? Consider this two-bedroom home set on a vineyard just outside of Newport, Rhode Island (a wine tasting is included in your stay). Or if you’re looking for surf and sand, check out this one-bedroom bungalow with a fun-filled backyard less than a mile from Huntington Beach, California. If you’re wanting a more urban environment, book a stay at this modern two-bedroom in Austin, with a dedicated office for remote work and a hard-to-beat location.

Gansevoort Meatpacking NYC: A consistent Readers’ Choice Award winner, the Gansevoort is offering 30 percent off summer stays in New York’s Meatpacking District. Spend your days wandering Chelsea’s art galleries and museums and exploring the West Village—or just plop down at the hotel’s stunning 15th floor pool. (Bonus: If you book this deal, you’ll get 20 percent off neighboring Eberjey, so you can stock up on luxe PJ sets to make your hotel stay complete.)

Sonesta: If you want more time to plan, Sonesta’s ‘Summer of Travel’ sale runs through June 30 and lets you save on hotel stays booked through September 7. How much you save depends on how long you stay—three-night stays are 15 percent off, four-night stays are 20 percent off, and stays of five nights or more are 30 percent off. To cash in on the deal, use code SAVE30. Sonesta has properties all across the country, but we’re partial to the Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island, with its 11 acres of tropical gardens and guest rooms with ocean views, and the Clift Royal Sonesta Hotel, located two blocks from Union Square and filled with Philippe Starck furniture.

Virgin Voyages is finally sailing this year—and offering discounts to boot.

Cruises

Silversea: Now through May 31, Silversea is offering 20 percent off of Silver Privilege fares for voyages departing on or after September 1, 2021. (Note: You’ll have to pay in full to take advantage of this deal.) You don’t need a special code, just submit a request for a quote or work with a travel specialist to book. Named one of the best cruise lines in the word in our annual Gold List, we love Antarctic cruises for their expedition leaders and well-sized ships.

Virgin Voyages: The launch of Sir Richard Branson’s hip cruise line has been long awaited—and postponed. Originally set to sail in March 2020, the cruise line has been patiently waiting it out and is now heading out on its first voyage at the end of the summer. To celebrate, the cruise line is offering 10 percent off all bookings—whether you prefer a trip around the Caribbean or the Mediterranean—and up to $200 in onboard credit. And if you pre-purchase a bar tab to make the most of the many on-board restaurants and watering holes, they’re offering an additional $100 off.
