Edgewood Tahoe Resort Plans to Unveil New Villas in 2022

Luxury retreat Edgewood Tahoe has revealed plans to grow its footprint along the southern coast of Lake Tahoe with the addition of upscale villa suites. Slated for completion in June 2022, the new accommodations will be crafted by Reno, Nevada-based Collaborative Design Studio to reflect the natural splendor of the Sierra Nevada mountain setting.

“Lake Tahoe is such a spectacular natural setting,” says Peter W. Grove, principal and managing partner of Collaborative Design Studio. “It is a privilege to partner with Edgewood Tahoe Resort to create this opportunity for others to enjoy its beauty at an elevated level of luxury.”

Adjacent to the property’s main lodge, the villas will be oriented to maximize views of the lake and surrounding forest via expansive glass façades. Ranging from 1,875 to 2,938 square feet, each accommodation will balance contemporary design elements with rugged alpine details. Exposed wood trusses will be showcased beneath steep and shallow pitched roofs, while natural stone will be installed alongside clean lines. All suites will be equipped with individual ensuite bathrooms and kitchens, along with private patios populated with firepits.

Reservations for the new villas, for dates beginning June 2022, will be available starting October 2021.
